To Market, To Market, by Kira

With Meer on my back and Fern by my side
we hit the Haliburton farmer's market with some friends.
I was impressed.
Having just been to the Peterborough Market. This market has a lot to offer.
In season fruits and veggies, breads, herbs, flowers, home baking, maple syrup, honey, meat, Cheese, preserves, soaps, fibres, jewellery,
and other local handmade artisan items.
There was a little tent set up with chairs where we stopped to take a break from the heat.
We ate fresh peas, raspberries and pickled carrots.
The girls and I brought home some organic potatoes, raspberries and some goats cheese.
If you live in the area or like taking drives into the country
check this market out.
